Is Star Wars Land Still Crowded? | New Stores, Single Rider On Smuggler’s Run & Friday The 13th Fun!

In today’s vlog we head to Disney’s Hollywood Studios to see if Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge is still as crowded as it was the first weekend.
On the way in we stopped by the newly remodeled Keystone Clothiers, where we found out that you can buy premade droid depot R2D2s and BB8s, as well as monkey lizards, porg puppets and C3POs. Then we headed back to Black Spire Outpost to see the crowd levels, ride wait time and if there were any changes in the land since opening. We also tested out the single rider line on Smuggler’s Run, which turned out to be very successful in reducing my wait time. It only took 15 mins from line entrance to exiting the after the ride. You do miss out on the pre show but it’s nice if you’re just looking to ride the ride. Then we end out the video by riding Tower of Terror for Friday the 13th! We also look for Jenn’s mickey mouse necklace, we get a lot of questions about where to find it so we wanted to show you where to look.
What is the Droid Depot and why is it one of the most popular experiences in Star Wars Land?
Star Wars Land at Disneyland in California has been open for over a year now, and visitors are still flocking to the immersive land to experience the galaxy far, far away. But is Star Wars Land still crowded? The answer is yes, but there are ways to avoid the crowds and make the most of your visit.
One of the biggest draws of Star Wars Land is the rides, and the newest one, Rise of the Resistance, continues to be extremely popular. However, there are ways to cut down on your wait time for the ride. One option is to take advantage of the new single rider line for Smuggler’s Run, another popular ride in the land. While the single rider line may not be available all the time, it can save you a significant amount of time if you’re traveling solo or don’t mind being separated from your group.
In addition to the rides, there are new stores and experiences that have been added to Star Wars Land. One of the most popular is the Droid Depot, where visitors can build their own droid and bring it home as a unique souvenir. There is also a new entertainment offering, Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple, where young Padawans can train with a Jedi and face off against the Dark Side.
Despite the crowds, Disneyland is still finding ways to make Star Wars Land fun for visitors. For example, on Friday the 13th in March, the land hosted a special event called Villains Nite. The event included exclusive merchandise, themed food and drinks, character meet and greets, and a fireworks show featuring iconic Disney villains.
While Star Wars Land may still be crowded, there are ways to make the most of your visit. By taking advantage of the single rider line, exploring new stores and experiences, and attending special events like Villains Nite, you can have a memorable experience in the galaxy far, far away. May the Force be with you!
